CANDIDATE PROFILE

Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

18–25 years of relevant experience, preferably in heavy engineering, pumps, industrial machinery, foundry, casting, machining or similar manufacturing industries.

Minimum 5+ years in a Maintenance Manager / Plant Maintenance Head / Senior Maintenance leadership role preferred.

Strong hands-on experience in both preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Experience in maintenance of CNC/VMC/HMC and heavy machining equipment will be highly preferred.

Exposure to foundry/casting plant maintenance will be an added advantage.

Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance systems.

Good understanding of PLC/VFD, industrial electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Strong knowledge of RCA, TPM, preventive/predictive maintenance and maintenance KPIs.

Should have strong manpower handling and leadership capability.

Good experience in maintenance planning, budgeting, spare-parts management and vendor management.





Candidates from Heavy Engineering / Industrial Pumps / Auto Components / Foundry / Casting / Machine Manufacturing / Capital Equipment industries may be considered.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :-

Head the complete Plant Maintenance function covering Electrical, Mechanical and Utility maintenance.

Develop and implement preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance systems for plant machinery and equipment.

Ensure maximum machine availability and minimum unplanned downtime.

Lead maintenance activities for CNC, VMC, HMC, conventional machining and other heavy engineering/machining equipment.

Handle maintenance of foundry/casting equipment, machining lines, cranes, compressors, pumps, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, DG sets and plant utilities.

Ensure effective preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown analysis and corrective actions.

Lead RCA / Root Cause Analysis for major equipment failures and implement permanent corrective measures.

Monitor MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability and maintenance-related KPIs.

Manage electrical systems including HT/LT panels, transformers, motors, MCCs, PCCs, starters, VFDs and industrial electrical installations.

Ensure reliable operation and maintenance of plant utilities including compressors, DG sets, pumps, cooling systems and other utility equipment.

Plan and control annual maintenance budgets, spares inventory and critical spare requirements.

Identify opportunities for energy saving, equipment reliability improvement and maintenance cost reduction.

Lead installation, commissioning and maintenance of current machinery and equipment.





Coordinate with Production, Projects, Quality, Safety, Purchase and Stores departments for smooth plant operations.

Manage maintenance manpower, contractors and external service agencies.

Develop SOPs, preventive maintenance checklists and equipment history records.

Ensure compliance with statutory, electrical, safety and environmental requirements.

Lead shutdown planning and execution with minimum production loss.

Evaluate ageing machinery and recommend replacement, refurbishment or upgradation.

Support CAPEX projects, machine installation, plant expansion and engineering improvement projects.

Ensure proper maintenance documentation, audit readiness and adherence to company systems.
