Audio & Video Editor

The Audio & Video Editor operates as a production specialist focused on creating video content within established frameworks and templates for Prime Video. The role primarily involves producing trailer cutdowns, H1 videos, multi-title assets, and drop-ins while working independently on defined tasks. The editor will manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting quality standards and deadlines, collaborating with stakeholders across marketing, production, and QA teams to deliver high-quality visual assets that contribute to Prime Video's global marketing effectiveness.

Key responsibilities of the role:

1. Create and edit video content according to established templates and creative direction.
2. Execute trailer cutdowns, H1 videos, multi-title assets, drop-ins and other defined video deliverables.
3. Deliver high-quality video edits that meet business goals and project requirements within established timelines.
4. Work collaboratively with producers, QA and stakeholders to coordinate deliverables.
5. Handle multiple project deadlines while maintaining consistent quality standards.
6. Apply and maintain video templates and style guides according to established standards.
7. Make creative decisions to enhance video outputs within defined parameters.
8. Ensure all audiovisual assets meet technical specifications and content guidelines.
9.



Actively seeking to improve AV skills including motion graphics, animation, and sound design.
10. Participate in key strategic discussions, mock creation sessions and initiatives that enhance creative production capabilities.
11. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to efficiency-driven projects.

Key Skills:

1. 3-5+ years of experience as an editor in a creative agency or similar production environment.
2. Bachelor's degree in Video Editing, Advertising, Marketing, or related field.
3. demonstrating versatile editing capabilities
4. Strong verbal and written English skills to ensure effective communication and documentation.
5. High proficiency in Adobe Premiere and video editing software.
6. Experience in data asset management, libraries, or digital collections, with ability to research for high-quality assets for production.
7. Robust attention to detail and quality control mindset.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
9. Motion graphics and sound design knowledge preferred.
10. Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
11. Understanding of marketing and advertising principles will be an added advantage.
12. 3+ years working with Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
