Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and target-oriented Medical Representative with 1-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales to join our sales team.
The candidate will be responsible for promoting prescription medicines to doctors, developing strong relationships with healthcare professionals, generating prescriptions, and achieving sales targets in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities

- Visit doctors regularly and promote the company's prescription medicines.
- Conduct effective and scientifically accurate product detailing to doctors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors and healthcare professionals.
- Generate prescriptions and increase the usage of company products.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Identify and develop recent doctors and potential prescribers.
- Plan and execute daily doctor calls as per the assigned coverage plan.
- Follow up with doctors regularly to improve product recall and prescription generation.
- Ensure availability of products through distributors, stockists, and pharmacies.
- Monitor competitor products, activities, and market trends.
- Collect feedback from doctors and provide relevant market information to the reporting manager.
- Maintain accurate records of doctor visits, sales activities, and reports.




- Participate in doctor meetings, CME programs, conferences, and promotional activities.
- Follow company policies and ethical standards for promotion of prescription medicines.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 1 year and maximum 3 years of experience as a Medical Representative / Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.
- Experience in prescription medicine promotion to doctors is mandatory/preferred.
- Graduate degree in B.Pharm, B.Sc., B.Pharma, Life Sciences, or a related field will be preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good convincing, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Strong relationship-building skills with doctors.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Candidates with experience in pharmaceutical / prescription medicine sales will be given preference.
