Role & responsibilities

- Visit manufacturing companies and CNC machining customers to understand machining requirements.
- Study component drawings, materials, machining operations and existing tooling.
- Support cutting-tool selection based on the application.
- Coordinate and conduct cutting-tool trials at customer sites.
- Monitor tool performance, tool life, surface finish and cycle time.
- Prepare application and trial reports.
- Provide technical support and follow up on ongoing applications.
- Develop relationships with production, process and engineering teams.
- Coordinate with the internal technical team for tool selection and application support.
- Travel regularly to customer manufacturing facilities.

Preferred candidate profile

- 03 years of experience; freshers are welcome.
- Diploma / B.E.



/ B.Tech in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production Engineering or related field.
- Basic knowledge of CNC turning and milling.
- Understanding of cutting speed, feed, depth of cut and basic machining parameters.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Basic understanding of cutting tools, inserts and tool holders.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive communication and customer interaction skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Practical exposure to CNC machines or machining processes will be an advantage.
- Technical training will be provided by Cygnus.
