Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure, Linux, Docker, CI/CD, networking, and production support.

The ideal candidate will take end-to-end ownership of cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot complex production issues, and ensure high availability, security, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and support AWS environments across development, testing, and production.
- Work extensively with EC2, ECS/Fargate, ECR, RDS, S3, VPC, ALB, Auto Scaling, Route 53, WAF, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, Cognito, and Amplify.
- Own infrastructure monitoring, health checks, capacity planning, backups, snapshots, alerts, SSL/DNS, security groups, IAM access, and cloud resource utilization.
- Support Docker-based deployments and CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
- Assist with production releases, hotfixes, rollbacks, and environment configuration.
- Troubleshoot issues involving Linux servers, networking, load balancers, containers, databases, DNS, storage, connectivity, and application infrastructure.
- Manage Amazon RDS/PostgreSQL operations including availability, performance, storage, backups, replication, recovery, and access security.
- Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity readiness, including cross-region recovery, runbooks, and recovery testing.
- Participate in production incident response, root-cause analysis, preventive actions, patching, infrastructure hardening, and security remediation.

Required Skills

- 3-5 years of hands-on AWS/cloud infrastructure experience.
- Strong knowledge of EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ECR/ECS, ALB, Auto Scaling, and Route 53.
- Strong understanding of VPCs,



subnets, routing, security groups, NAT/Internet gateways, load balancing, DNS, and cloud networking.
- Hands-on experience with Linux administration, Docker/container operations, PostgreSQL/RDS, Git, CI/CD, monitoring, log analysis, and production troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of cloud security, IAM/least privilege, encryption, secrets/configuration management, backups, disaster recovery, high availability, and incident management.
- Ability to independently diagnose complex infrastructure issues and implement effective solutions.
- Strong documentation and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical stakeholders.

Positive to Have

- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Knowledge of AWS Systems Manager, Secrets Manager, KMS, DMS, Athena, or Bedrock.
- Experience with multi-region AWS architectures and RDS cross-region replicas.
- Experience with ECS Fargate.
- Exposure to security, compliance, and cloud governance practices.
- AWS certifications.

Shift & Work Expectations

- This is a shift-based remote role.
- The selected candidate will initially work the US Night Shift and should be comfortable supporting US business hours.
- The role may require support for production releases, scheduled maintenance, and critical incidents.
- Shift assignments may rotate based on business requirements.
- Night Shift Allowance will be provided as per company policy.
- Remote work initially, with relocation to Hyderabad required at a later stage.
