As an Accountant (35 Years Experience), you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and financial activities of a travel business. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting processes, accuracy in financial record-keeping, and the ability to manage transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and statutory compliance-related activities. You will work closely with the management and internal teams to ensure that financial records are accurate, transactions are properly recorded, and accounting activities are completed within defined timelines. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Maintaining accurate books of accounts and recording day-to-day financial transactions. Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, receipts, payments, and expense records. Preparing and maintaining invoices, bills, vouchers, and other accounting documentation. Performing regular bank, cash, customer, and vendor reconciliations. Tracking outstanding receivables and payables and following up on pending transactions.

Requirements Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications or additional accounting certifications will be an advantage. Skills Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping processes. Practical experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial record-keeping. Good knowledge of practical use of finbook software. Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance requirements. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or similar platforms.
