Deputy Manager - Statutory Audit - IGAAP- CA -4-7 Years -Hyderabad

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong experience in statutory audits, tax audits, group reporting, client management, and team leadership. The role involves independently managing audit assignments, reviewing financial statements, leading audit teams, and ensuring high-quality and timely audit delivery.

Responsibilities

Independently plan and execute statutory audits, tax audits, and group reporting engagements across multiple industries.

Review financial statements and audit deliverables while ensuring compliance with Indian GAAP, IFRS, auditing standards, and firm methodologies.

Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact for audit-related matters.

Lead, mentor, and monitor audit teams to ensure quality, timely delivery, and effective team performance.

Coordinate with audit shared service teams and internal stakeholders to improve efficiency in routine audit activities.

Ensure complete and accurate audit documentation and support closure of audit review observations.





Work with quality teams on audit quality initiatives and participate in internal audit quality reviews.

Coordinate with internal service lines and overseas teams to deliver integrated audit solutions.

Apply knowledge of accounting standards, auditing, taxation, and corporate laws to resolve complex audit matters.

Manage client portfolio responsibilities including billing, recovery, and client service satisfaction.

Support non-standard assurance and internal audit engagements when required.

Requirements

Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-7 years of relevant experience.

Strong experience in Statutory Audit, Tax Audit and/or Group Reporting.

Good working knowledge of Indian GAAP, IFRS, auditing standards, taxation, and corporate laws.

Experience in reviewing financial statements, audit documentation, and audit deliverables.

Proven experience in team handling, mentoring, and audit assignment management.

Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working with ERP systems and digital audit tools.

Strong communication, time management, ownership, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality and timelines.

Adaptable and comfortable working with cross-functional and overseas teams.
