Position: AGM / DGM – Direct Purchase

Role

Lead direct procurement of KSMs, solvents, APIs and intermediates for both R&D; and commercial operations, ensuring cost competitiveness, quality and uninterrupted supply.

Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic sourcing and procurement of KSMs, solvents, APIs and intermediates.
Develop and manage domestic & international suppliers and alternate sources.
Drive commercial negotiations, cost savings, contracts and payment terms.
Support procurement requirements from R&D;, process development, scale-up to commercial production.
Ensure timely availability of critical materials and manage supply risks.
Track market trends, raw-material pricing and identify cost optimization opportunities.
Work closely with R&D;, QA, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Finance teams.

Candidate Profile

15+ years of relevant experience in API/Pharma/CDMO procurement.
Strong exposure to KSMs, solvents, intermediates and direct purchase.
Proven supplier development and negotiation skills.
Valuable understanding of API/chemical markets and supply chains.
Experience in both R&D; procurement and commercial sourcing.
Strong leadership, analytical and stakeholder-management skills.
