About UsTooused powers circularity for India's leading brands, retailers, textile producers, and households.Tooused's vision is to divert 1 billion textiles from landfill by 2030, recycling them for a second life instead, and we’re on track to do it with India's first full-stack textile recycling platform. This platform is setting the course for the future of the industry, connecting textile waste to responsible end-of-life options, meaningfully addressing the textile waste crisis, and redefining the sustainability narrative for the next generation – to one that is win-win-win for brands, consumers, and our planet.About the roleWe are building TakeBack for Brands. It gives a brand everything it needs to run its own take-back programme without building any of it, including reverse logistics across the country, chain of custody on every garment, and the reporting brands will need as India's textile EPR rules take shape. We already have early interest from brands like NewMe, No Nasties, Mahina and Debaans. What we do not have yet is one person who owns this line end to end. That is this role. You will be the first commercial hire on TakeBack. You will find the brands, run the pitch, close the deal, and then stay on to get the programme live with our ops and tech teams. This is not a role where you hand off after signature. At our stage, the person who sells it is the person who makes it work. What you will doBuild and run the brand pipeline, from cold outreach and events to inbound and referralsOwn the full sales cycle, including discovery, pitch, commercials, negotiation and closeDesign each brand's take-back programme with them, covering collection format, customer incentive,

logistics flow and reportingWork with our ops and tech teams to launch signed brands and keep them runningBe the brand's main point of contact after go-live, and own renewal and expansionBuild the pitch materials as you go, including decks, pricing models, and case studiesTrack what is and is not working in the funnel and tell us plainlyKeep on top of EPR and textile regulation in India, and translate it into a reason for brands to act nowWhat we are looking forThis is a hands-on commercial role with responsibility for building the pipeline, winning business, and getting programmes live.2 to 5 years in B2B retail sales, partnerships, key accounts, or category managementBackground in fashion, retail, D2C, sustainabilityCreate opportunities proactively: You will research brands, identify decision-makers, initiate outreach, and follow up consistently. The founders will support important conversations; you will own keeping opportunities moving.Work towards agreed outcomes: We will set targets for qualified brand conversations, proposals, signed agreements, and programme launches. A qualified conversation should establish a relevant need, the decision-making process, and a explicit next step.Keep the pipeline current: Record meaningful activity in our shared CRM or tracker by the next working day. Every active opportunity should show the contact, latest discussion, stage, next action, and follow-up date.Make progress and blockers visible:

Share a weekly update covering what moved forward, what stalled, why, and what support you need. Raise risks early and recommend a next step.Own delivery with the team: Confirm operational and technical feasibility before making commitments. After signature, coordinate the launch, track open issues, and keep the brand informed until they are resolved.Ensure continuity: When an account changes hands or your engagement ends, provide an organised handover covering contacts, commitments, documents, pending actions, and timelines. Another team member should be able to continue the work from those records. What we are not looking forSomeone who only wants to work warm inboundSomeone who needs a fully built product, a fixed price list, and a finished deck on day oneSomeone who treats sustainability as a talking point rather than an operating problemWhy this is worth your timeTextile EPR is coming to India. When it lands, every mid and large apparel brand in the country will need a take-back partner, and very few will want to build the infrastructure themselves. We already have the grid running. This role is the person who turns that into a business before the rules force everyone to catch up.You will report directly to the founder, and you will own the line rather than a slice of it. If it works, you build the team under it.CompensationFixed salary plus performance-linked incentive on signed and launched brands. ESOPs on the table for the right person. We will talk numbers openly in the first call. How to applySend your CV to [email protected] with a short note on one brand you think should be running a take-back programme in India and how you would get to them. We read those notes.
