Payments Application Support & Production Operations

We are seeking an experienced skilled with strong expertise in Payments Application Support and Production Operations. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of payment ecosystems and banking transaction platforms, including Payment Switch, Card Payments, UPI, IMPS, AEPS, BBPS, and mATM solutions

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide L2/L3 production support for critical payment applications and ensure high availability of services.
- Analyze end-to-end payment transaction flows and troubleshoot payment processing issues across multiple systems.
- Perform ISO 8583 message analysis, API troubleshooting, and request/response validation for payment transactions.
- Manage system integrations involving banking applications, Core Banking Systems (CBS), vendors, and payment network gateways.
- Support and troubleshoot REST APIs, JSON/XML payloads, SSL/HTTPS connectivity, and system-to-system integrations.
- Handle and resolve Priority 1 (P1) and Priority 2 (P2) incidents within defined SLAs.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and drive preventive and corrective actions for recurring issues.




- Perform application monitoring, log analysis, release deployments, patch management, and environment validations.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to ensure smooth production operations.
- Monitor transaction failures, analyze application logs, and drive resolution to minimize business impact.

Required Skills:

- Strong understanding of digital payment platforms and transaction processing systems.
- Hands-on experience with payment switch applications and banking integrations.
- Expertise in ISO 8583 messaging, APIs, and payment transaction troubleshooting.
- Exposure to Linux/Unix environments, application logs, and production monitoring tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and vendor coordination skills.
- Proven experience in incident management, problem management, and production support operations.
