Lead Engineer (SSH Management)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Linux Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Unix/Linux administration, SSH key management, and IAM/PAM. The role involves managing secure infrastructure, automating processes, and supporting enterprise-grade environments with a focus on security, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain Unix/Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Manage SSH key lifecycle – provisioning, rotation, governance, and security controls.
- Implement and maintain IAM controls (RBAC, PAM) for secure access management.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (Shell/Python) for operational efficiency.
- Support and manage CI/CD release pipelines (Jenkins, Git, etc.).
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams for secure platform operations.
- Perform basic SQL operations and troubleshooting.




- Ensure adherence to security policies, compliance standards, and audit requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure access and deployment issues.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong experience in Unix/Linux Administration
- Hands-on expertise in SSH Key Management & Secure Access Controls
- Proficiency in Automation Scripting (Shell/Python)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and Release Pipeline management
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL Database systems
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts (RBAC, PAM)
- Data Encryption and Key Management

Good to Have Skills

- Experience with ServiceNow / ITIL tools (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
- Exposure to enterprise infrastructure platforms
- Knowledge of Venafi SSH or similar SSH governance tools
- Robust Excel reporting skills
- Experience working in large enterprise environments
