CTG is seeking to fill a FPGA Design Engineer position for our client.

Location: Remote
Duration: Ongoing Contract

Duties:

Design, develop, integrate, and validate FPGA-based systems.

Perform FPGA architecture, digital logic design, coding, simulation, and verification.

Develop and validate high-speed I/O interfaces and communication protocols.

Support system integration, hardware bring-up, testing, and troubleshooting.

Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams.

Optimize FPGA timing, performance, power, and resource utilization.

Support requirements analysis, design reviews, and technical documentation.

Skills:

FPGA Design and Verification

VHDL and/or Verilog

Digital Logic Design

High-Speed I/O and Communication Protocols

System Integration and Hardware Bring-Up

Embedded Programming

Hardware/Software Integration

Debugging and Troubleshooting

Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, or similar tools

Experience:

Experience designing and developing FPGA-based systems.

Experience with FPGA system integration, hardware bring-up, and validation.

Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, Serial RapidIO, JESD204, or DDR.

Experience with embedded systems and C/C++, embedded Linux, or RTOS preferred.

Experience with SoC FPGA platforms and timing analysis preferred.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70.00 to $80.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
