About ScrunchBox and the role

ScrunchBox, a leading player in the pet health & wellness ecosystem, is building a pet-care service network across India to help pet parents access reliable local providers throughout their pet's life. We are hiring Pet Network Fellows to identify, assess and onboard providers across assigned cities and PIN codes.

You will speak with veterinary clinics, groomers, boarding facilities, trainers, diagnostics providers, pet transport operators and other pet-care businesses. You will help ScrunchBox maintain a network of suitable, responsive partners that their customers can access when they need a service.

This is a non-clinical role focused on outbound calling, service provider onboarding and relationship management. Clinical questions and assessments will be referred to qualified veterinary reviewers.

Key responsibilities

· Research and map pet-care providers by service category, city, locality and PIN code, using reliable public sources and professional referrals.

· Make outbound calls and conduct follow-ups to explain ScrunchBox's partner proposition, understand providers interest and progress onboarding.

· Collect and check provider details, relevant qualifications and registrations, species handled, facilities and service capabilities using approved checklists.

· Confirm service areas, operating hours, appointment lead times, capacity, prices, additional charges and primary and backup contacts.

· Discuss approved partnership terms, coordinate documentation and submit complete applications for review and activation.

· Keep the provider database accurate, record every follow-up and track onboarding status, pending documents and next actions.

· Build ongoing partner relationships and periodically reconfirm availability, contact details and willingness to accept bookings.





· Identify underserved areas and service gaps, source backup providers and flag quality concerns or unverified claims to the team.

· Coordinate with the customer assistance team on provider availability and booking readiness, and share progress reports against agreed targets.

Who we are looking for

· Recent graduates in Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry students.

· Transparent communication in English and proficiency in Hindi or a regional language relevant to the assigned locations. Additional Indian languages are an advantage.

· Confidence in initiating professional conversations, asking relevant questions, handling objections and following up consistently.

· Good research skills, attention to detail and working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets

· Comfort with outbound calling, agreed activity targets and maintaining complete, accurate records.

· Ability to work independently during agreed hours, with a reliable internet connection, access to a laptop and a suitable calling environment.

Working arrangement

Full-time. Working hours and responsibilities will be agreed before joining.

Compensation will be discussed based on qualifications and the working arrangement.

How success will be measured

· Verified providers successfully activated in assigned locations and service categories.

· Priority coverage gaps closed, including suitable backup providers.

· Accuracy and completeness of provider records and timely follow-ups.

· Partner responsiveness, current availability information and booking readiness.
