About the Role

We are looking for a Marketing & Content Intern who has a solid understanding of the startup, business and investment ecosystem and can translate that understanding into relevant, engaging and high-quality content.

This role is primarily focused on content creation and marketing for the startup ecosystem, with a significant focus on promoting our founder, startup and investor events.

You will work closely with the founding team to build content around startups, founders, funding, investors, venture capital, private equity, investment banking, entrepreneurship and business trends, while also developing and executing marketing campaigns for our events, programs and communities.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys researching, writing, creating, storytelling and understanding what is happening in the startup ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Startup & Business Content

- Research and create engaging content around the startup and business ecosystem.
- Track relevant startup launches, funding rounds, founder stories, investor activity, business trends and industry developments.
- Develop content ideas that make complex business and investment topics interesting and accessible.
- Create LinkedIn posts, Instagram content, carousels, reels, scripts, short-form videos, newsletters and other relevant formats.
- Develop content around founders, investors, companies, events and ecosystem trends.
- Identify timely conversations and trends that can be converted into content.
- Build a strong understanding of our audience and what they want to consume.

2. Event Marketing & Content

A key responsibility will be marketing our founder, startup and investor-focused events.

- Develop the content and marketing plan for each event.
- Create pre-event content to build awareness and drive registrations.
- Develop speaker, founder, investor and event-related content.
- Create event announcements, countdowns,



promotional posts and registration campaigns.
- Coordinate with speakers, founders, investors and partners for content and promotional requirements.
- Capture content during events and identify opportunities for real-time content.
- Develop post-event content including highlights, insights, clips, quotes and event recaps.
- Help build a consistent content engine around every event.

3. Social Media & Brand

- Manage and execute the content calendar across relevant social platforms.
- Maintain consistency in brand voice, positioning and visual communication.
- Work with designers, videographers and creators to convert concepts into final content.
- Stay updated with social media formats, trends and platform behaviour.
- Monitor content performance and use insights to improve future content.

4. Campaigns & Community Growth

- Assist in developing creative campaigns around events, programs and ecosystem initiatives.
- Develop campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, registrations and community growth.
- Explore collaborations with founders, creators, colleges, startup communities and ecosystem organisations.
- Support WhatsApp, LinkedIn and other community-led marketing initiatives.
- Contribute ideas for online and offline activations.

5. Research & Marketing Insights

- Continuously track developments across startups, venture capital, private equity, investment banking, technology and entrepreneurship.
- Research competitors, relevant media platforms, creators and ecosystem communities.
- Identify content gaps, emerging trends and new marketing opportunities.
- Analyse content and campaign performance and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

What We're Looking For





The most important requirement for this role is a genuine understanding and interest in the startup ecosystem.

We are looking for someone who:

- Actively follows startups, founders, funding, investors and business news.
- Understands basic concepts around VC, PE, investment banking, fundraising, accelerators and startup growth.
- Can talk about the startup ecosystem beyond surface-level trends.
- Has strong writing, storytelling and communication skills.
- Has a natural ability to identify what makes a story, founder or business interesting.
- Is comfortable researching and creating content independently.
- Has a strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn and short-form content.
- Is creative but also understands the importance of strategy and consistency.
- Is proactive, curious and willing to take ownership.
- Can work in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Preferred Background

Candidates pursuing or having completed a degree in:

Marketing / BBA / BMS / Mass Media / Communications / Business Analytics / Management / Economics / Finance or related fields will be preferred.

Candidates from other backgrounds with strong content portfolios, startup knowledge, relevant projects or demonstrated interest in the ecosystem are welcome to apply.
