Osettl Technologies builds Legodesk — legal-powered recovery infrastructure for Indian lenders. Banks, NBFCs, fintechs and ARCs use our platform to run debt resolution and NPA recovery across Section 138 NI Act, SARFAESI, DRT/DRAT and IBC/NCLT workflows.

ROLE SUMMARY

You sit between our lender clients, the operations team and product & engineering. You turn client requirements into transparent specifications, working software and signed-off releases.

This is a requirements and delivery role, not a reporting or dashboarding role. Roughly 70% of the work is specification, stakeholder alignment and UAT; the remaining 30% is analysis to support those decisions. Candidates looking for a pure analytics or MIS position should not apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Elicit and document requirements from lender clients and internal operations; convert them into BRDs, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Map current and target-state process flows for recovery workflows; identify gaps, exceptions and control points before a line of code is written.

• Own the product backlog with engineering — prioritisation, grooming, sprint planning and clarification of scope during the build.

• Plan and run UAT — test scenarios, defect triage, client sign-off and release notes.

• Specify lender integrations with engineering — data models, API and file-based contracts, field mapping and reconciliation rules.

• Act as the day-to-day point of contact for client stakeholders through discovery, build and go-live; run requirement walkthroughs and review meetings.

• Support configuration and rollout of new client onboardings, including data migration checks and user training material.

• Analyse recovery funnel performance to validate requirements and size new opportunities — resolution rates, notice-to-payment conversion, turnaround time by stage,



cost per recovery — and maintain the review reporting that goes with it.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2–5 years as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst — fintech, lending, collections, BFSI or B2B SaaS preferred.

• Demonstrated ownership of requirements documentation — BRDs / FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria and process flows — for features that shipped to production.

• Experience delivering under a defined SDLC — Agile sprints, Waterfall or hybrid — including backlog grooming, sprint ceremonies, UAT planning and release sign-off.

• Ability to map and document structured, multi-stage legal workflows — the Section 138 NI Act lifecycle, SARFAESI notice stages under Sections 13(2) and 13(4), DRT and NCLT filings, and notice-to-execution tracking. Prior hands-on exposure is preferred; demonstrated ability to learn a regulated workflow to specification level is mandatory.

• Working understanding of confidentiality controls in a regulated environment — role-based access control, audit trails, maker-checker approvals and data privacy obligations — and the ability to specify them as product requirements rather than treat them as an afterthought.

• Confidence running requirement workshops and review meetings directly with client stakeholders, including senior operations and credit leadership at lenders.

• Working knowledge of SQL and advanced Excel / Google Sheets, sufficient to interrogate data and validate a specification.

• Strong written and spoken English; clear, structured documentation is a core output of this role.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, commerce, economics, statistics or a related discipline.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Hands-on experience with debt collections, NPA recovery, matter management, contract lifecycle management or legal billing systems.

• Understanding of RBI recovery agent guidelines, the Fair Practices Code, or DPDP Act 2023 obligations.

• Familiarity with API documentation, wireframing tools and a BI or reporting tool.

• Prior experience in an early-stage company with ambiguous, fast-changing requirements.
