Role Description The Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Spinny is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. The SME will provide deep expertise in the used car domain, including vehicle evaluation, feature understanding, pricing rationale, and market trends, to support both internal teams and customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding customers on vehicle suitability, explaining inspection reports, answering product and process queries, and helping them make confident purchase decisions. The SME will collaborate closely with sales, operations, and quality inspection teams to refine processes, improve customer communication,



and ensure consistent standards across the car hubs. The role also involves documenting best practices, creating knowledge resources, and contributing insights to training programs and process improvements.
Qualifications

- Strong domain knowledge of automobiles and used car markets, including vehicle features, conditions, and pricing fundamentals.
- Customer-facing skills such as clear communication, active listening, and the ability to explain complex information in simple, structured terms.
- Analytical skills for interpreting inspection reports, comparing market data, and supporting fair and scientific pricing decisions.
- Collaboration and teamwork abilities to work effectively with sales, operations, and quality inspection teams in a quick-paced on-site environment.
- Attention to detail and process orientation to uphold Spinny's standards of transparency, quality checks, and documentation.
- Comfort with using technology, digital tools, and internal platforms to access data, update records, and support customer journeys.
- Relevant experience in automotive sales, service, evaluation, or consulting; experience in the used car segment is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; automotive, engineering, or business-related education is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed to support customer visits and peak business periods.
