Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Gas Cutter / Welder for fabrication, cutting and welding activities in a DRI/Sponge Iron Plant. The candidate will be responsible for performing gas cutting, arc welding and repair/fabrication work on plant structures, equipment and mechanical components while following strict safety procedures.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of gas cutting and arc welding.
- Experience in plant maintenance/fabrication work.
- Ability to weld different types of MS/steel components.
- Knowledge of welding electrodes, cutting tips and welding parameters.
- Basic knowledge of fabrication and fitting work.
- Ability to operate welding machines and gas cutting equipment safely.
- Knowledge of Hot Work Permit, PTW and fire safety.
- Positive understanding of PPE and industrial safety.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a hot, dusty industrial environment.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and during shutdowns.
