- Assist in fabric spreading and laying as per the required lay plan.
- Support the Cutting Operator/Cutter during fabric cutting operations.
- Arrange and align fabric layers properly before cutting.
- Assist in placing and removing markers carefully.
- Collect and move cut panels to the designated area.
- Separate cut pieces according to style, size, color, and bundle requirements.
- Assist in numbering and bundling cut panels.
- Check cut pieces for visible defects, damage, or missing components.
- Maintain proper identification and prevent mixing of different styles and sizes.
- Handle fabric and cut panels carefully to avoid damage and wastage.
- Keep cutting tables, machines, tools, and surrounding areas clean.
- Follow 5S, housekeeping, safety,



and company procedures.
- Use required PPE while working in the cutting area.
- Assist in loading, unloading, and shifting fabric rolls and materials safely.
- Report fabric shortages, defects, cutting issues, or material mismatches to the supervisor.
- Support timely completion of daily cutting targets.
- Assist in maintaining proper material flow from cutting to the sewing department.
- Follow instructions given by the Cutting Master / Supervisor.
- Avoid unnecessary fabric wastage during handling and cutting activities
