Job Role: Rust Engineer - AWS & Microservices

Experience: 3 to 10 Years

Location: Pune

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop REST and gRPC microservices using Rust.
- Build services using Tokio, Axum/Actix Web, Serde, and Cargo.
- Develop APIs based on OpenAPI and Protobuf contracts.
- Implement business logic, API validation, error handling, persistence, caching, messaging, and resilient service integrations.
- Integrate AWS services including S3, SQS/SNS, Event Bridge, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora, Cloud Watch, IAM, and Secrets Manager.
- Develop asynchronous and concurrent applications with appropriate timeouts, retries, backoff, idempotency, and failure handling.
- Implement structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing, and correlation/trace IDs using Rust tracing,



Open Telemetry, Cloud Watch, and AWS X-Ray.
- Write unit, integration, API/contract, and component tests and maintain quality using cargo test, Clippy, and rustfmt.
- Containerize applications using Docker and support deployments through EKS/ECS/Fargate and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot application and performance issues involving latency, CPU, memory, I/O, networking, and asynchronous workloads.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, production support, defect resolution, and root-cause analysis.
