Credit Analyst - Leveraged Finance | 2-8 Years | Mumbai

Are you a finance professional with a strong interest in corporate credit analysis, financial markets, and corporate bond valuation? We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join the Leveraged Finance team, covering corporates across the UK, Europe, and US, while developing expertise in credit research, market analysis, and fixed income.

A leading organization offering an opportunity to work with a Global Credit team, gaining exposure to corporate credit analysis across multiple sectors and geographies, while contributing to investment research, new issue analysis, and credit recommendations.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct corporate credit analysis across select sectors and geographies, covering companies across the UK, Europe, and US.

- Provide high-quality credit analysis, timely recommendations, and informed credit commentary to the Global Credit team.

- Build effective coverage of selected companies across the capital structure, ratings, and levels of security, with a focus on relative value and ESG considerations.

- Conduct fundamental analysis of recent issue names and trade opportunities and provide timely coverage.

- Support the Global Credit team with research, client requests, reporting, RFPs, and analytical activities.

- Prepare and maintain client presentation slides, credit examples, and research materials.

- Present investment thoughts and recommendations effectively in both formal and informal settings, aligned with the organization's evaluation framework.





- Participate in Global Credit and Fixed Income meetings and collaborate regularly with the wider team.

- Demonstrate increasing independence, while maintaining strong engagement and communication with the team.

Requirements:

- Graduate or graduate calibre with a relevant or numerical degree/equivalent, with a 2:1 or higher.

- Master's qualification or working towards CFA Qualification preferred.

- CFA Level 4 Certificate in ESG Investing preferred.

- Strong interest in financial analysis, corporate credit, companies, and financial markets.

- Excellent numerical, analytical, and research skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present thoughts and recommendations effectively.

- Willingness to learn VBA and Python, along with strong aptitude for learning and developing technical skills.
