Role & responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable data engineering solutions.
- Define architecture standards and best practices for data platforms.
- Review technical designs and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
- Drive technical innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and guide a team of Data Engineers.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture.
- Build and maintain data pipelines using AWS, Databricks, PySpark, and Airflow.
- Develop high-performance ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data.
- Design and optimize data models supporting reporting, analytics, and ML use cases.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of data platforms.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.




- 8+ years of Data Engineering experience.
- 2+ years in a Technical Lead or Team Lead role.
- Strong experience building enterprise-scale data platforms on AWS.

Technical Expertise

- Deep expertise in Databricks, PySpark, Airflow, and AWS ecosystem.
- Proven experience implementing modern data lake and lakehouse architectures.
- Solid understanding of distributed computing and big data processing.
- Experience handling large-volume datasets and performance optimization.

- Capable of mentoring and developing team members.
