JOB SCOPE: Plan and manage all site operations in close cooperation with PM, Installation Engineering and Design activities, ensuring integration on field and installation of the complete System.
Responsibilities
- Manage the installation and commissioning of the Kavach system in locomotives.
- Coordinate with the customer to ensure timely allocation of locomotives for installation, complete PCCL works, and hand over to the customer within the agreed timeframe.
- Engage in the technical aspects of Kavach installation and commissioning, demonstrating the ability to make informed decisions to ensure successful job completion.
- Management and organization of site activities, including sites facilities, resources plan, site access and tools
- Delivering and maintaining of plans, procedures, Work Method Statements for Installation and Test & Commissioning Plans
- Management of Installation Works for all Sub-Systems and System equipment and related performance, including monitoring and leading actions on planning, risks, opportunities, best practices, non-conformities, technical interfaces
- Management of Sub-contractors, including monitoring of quality and delivery through site visits, inspections and assessments
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Graduate in B.Tech/Diploma(EEE/ECE)
- At least 6 years of experience in field work execution in the Locomotives
- Robust decision making and analytical abilities
- Experience in management and evaluation of subcontractors
- Strong planning & Reporting skills
