B.Sc. in Microbiology / Life Sciences / Biotechnology (or relevant discipline) with minimum 3 years of research/lab experience OR M.Sc. in the same disciplines with minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a molecular biology lab and molecular techniques

Currently living in, or willing to immediately relocate to, the study location you are applying for (Bhopal / Raipur)

Age 35 years or below

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Lab Technician will run the molecular diagnostics workflow at the assigned hub laboratory.

- Handling and timely processing of samples collected from participating health facilities
- Conducting RT-PCR assays as per study SOPs
- Collating lab results and preparing result reports
- Maintaining study documentation and real-time reporting to FMR




- Support Project Scientist if required for project activities
- Contributing to writing scientific papers for publication
- Supporting other project-related scientific/technical activities

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

- Solid knowledge of microbiology and molecular biology
- Proficiency in English and Hindi or the local language
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Familiarity with biosafety and laboratory quality control
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Experience handling infectious clinical samples
- Experience in molecular biology techniques, especially PCR-based methods
- Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and biosafety training
