Senior Avaloq Developer / Techno-Functional Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for highly skilled and experienced Senior Avaloq Developers / Techno-Functional Consultants to join our banking technology team. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in the Avaloq Core Banking platform, with the ability to deliver complex business and technical solutions for wealth management, private banking, and retail banking domains.

This role requires hands-on experience in Avaloq development, customization, configuration, and production support, along with a solid understanding of banking operations and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and enhance solutions on the Avaloq Core Banking Platform.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain Avaloq parameterization, interfaces, reports, and workflows.
- Collaborate with business users, product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in end-to-end project delivery, including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues while ensuring system stability and performance.
- Conduct impact analysis for enhancements and system changes.
- Ensure adherence to banking regulations,



security standards, and development best practices.
- Support data migration, system upgrades, and release management activities.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Avaloq development or techno-functional consulting.
- Strong understanding of Avaloq architecture, scripting, parameterization, and customization.
- Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, implementation, and support.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with global stakeholders.

Domain Expertise

Candidates must possess expertise in at least two of the following Avaloq modules/areas:

- STEX Trading
- Forex
- Money Market (MMKT)
- Credits & Loans
- Client Onboarding
- SWIFT Messaging
- Reporting
- Interfaces (AMI/CAPI)

Preferred

- Experience in Private Banking or Wealth Management domains.
- Exposure to Avaloq upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Understanding of banking products, regulatory requirements, and operational processes.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
