Position: Travel Operations / Itinerary Management Specialist

Candidate Profile

Prior experience with a travel agency or travel management company

Strong working knowledge of Sabre, Galileo, or Amadeus, with preference for Sabre

Solid command of English and Gujarati

Must be of Gujarati origin

Experience managing complete travel itineraries and coordinating travel arrangements

Should be comfortable acting as the SPOC for the client/traveller throughout the travel period

Strong coordination, communication, problem solving, and real time travel support skills

Role Description The Travel Consultant Project Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This role oversees end-to-end travel consulting projects, including planning, coordinating, and managing travel services for clients and internal stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling travel inquiries, designing itineraries, managing bookings and reservations, and ensuring smooth travel arrangements in line with client requirements and budgets.

The role also involves supervising a team of travel consultants, monitoring service quality, resolving customer issues, and collaborating with vendors and partners for flights, hotels, and other travel services.

and provide regular reports and updates to management.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management, including experience designing itineraries and overseeing travel projects.
- Candidates should possess practical expertise in Travel Arrangements and Reservations, including booking flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to respond to inquiries, handle complaints, and maintain client satisfaction.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple travel projects and deadlines.
- Candidates should possess good communication skills in English (and Hindi preferred), with the ability to coordinate with clients, team members, and external partners.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in using travel booking tools, online reservation systems, and standard office software.
- Candidates should possess prior experience in travel consulting or travel management; experience leading teams or projects is highly beneficial.
- Candidates should possess a relevant educational background in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
