Position description:

1. Engine assembly with protocols and maintenance
2. Engine and vehicle preparations, setup instrumentation, test checks and test bench running
3. Engine calibration, performance tuning and drivability and emission calibration
4. Tested engine disassembly,



parts inspection and report preparation
5. DVP report preparation, part failure analysis and counter measures recommendations.
6. Benchmarking.

Job Title / Role: Test Engineer - Engine Development- Calibration

Department: R&D;

Section: Super Premium - Engine

Location: Hosur

Education Qualification: Graduation in Mechanical /Automobile engineering or equivalent degree

Vacancy 1--Multicylinder engine calibration experience preferred

Required Experience: 5-10 years

Role Description

1. Understand the engine subsystem functions, assembly protocols, build book and assembly drawing
2. Conduct or execute engine or vehicle and its sub system level testing.
3. Understand the test standards and analyse test data (incl. Benchmark data) and report the results.
4. Daily and weekly work /engine assembly, maintenance and test plan and execution to achieve monthly target
5. Engine assembly plan and execution by guiding the team members
6. Motorcycle riding on road & evaluate the problems
7. Do benchmarking of competition products and experiment new ideas for product improvements
