Role Description The Textile Artist will work full time on-site at the Mumbai location, creating and refining textile-based artworks, patterns, and designs for use in products and collections. Day-to-day tasks include developing original textile designs, experimenting with materials and techniques, and producing samples that align with brand aesthetics and production requirements. The role involves collaborating with design and production teams, interpreting design briefs, and adapting concepts to different fabrics, textures,



and colorways.

Artist will also maintain organized records of designs and samples, ensure quality and consistency in finished work, and stay informed about trends in textile art and design.

Qualifications

- Strong practical skills in textiles and textile design, with the ability to create and adapt fabric-based concepts.
- Proficiency in crochet and knitting techniques, and the ability to incorporate them into creative textile pieces.
- Demonstrated artistic ability and understanding of art principles, including color, composition, and pattern.
- Attention to detail, valuable visual sense, and the ability to translate ideas into tangible textile products.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in textile manufacturing or fashion-related environments is an advantage.
- Relevant education or training in Textile Design, Fine Arts, Fashion Design, or a related discipline is preferred.
