Company Description Information Warfare Foundation of India is a non-governmental organization focused on defending against and responding to information warfare and artificial intelligence–related threats. Role Description The Startup Manager is a full time, hybrid role based in Bhubaneswar, with flexibility for partial work from home. The role involves setting up and scaling organizational operations, including defining processes, implementing tools, and coordinating cross-functional projects in information warfare and AI threat domains. Daily tasks include planning and managing initiatives, coordinating with technical and non-technical teams, overseeing partnerships and stakeholder relationships, and monitoring key performance indicators for ongoing programs.

Manager will also support fundraising and resource allocation, contribute to strategic planning, and ensure that activities align with the organization’s mission of protection,



detection, and reaction. This position requires hands-on involvement in both operational details and long-term growth planning to help build a sustainable, impact-driven organization.

Qualifications

- Experience in startup or early-stage organization management, including operations setup, project coordination, and process development.
- Strong strategic planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize initiatives, manage timelines, and oversee multiple projects.
- Background or demonstrated interest in cybersecurity, information warfare, artificial intelligence, or related technology and policy fields.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, partners, and advisors.
- Proficiency in basic business tools and digital platforms for project management, documentation, reporting, and remote collaboration.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, showing self-motivation, accountability, and adaptability to both on-site and remote work.
- Bachelor’s degree in management, technology, public policy, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in NGOs, national security, technology startups, or research organizations is beneficial but not mandatory.
