We’ve entered our industrialization phase, building world-class battery manufacturing facilities in Sanand, India, and in Bridgwater, UK, unlocking green growth opportunities for global customers in the mobility and energy sectors.Position overview:The Head of Corporate Sustainability will shape and lead Agratas sustainability strategy, embedding environmental, social and governance priorities into business operations, growth plans and the development of a global battery ecosystem. The role will advise the C-suite and senior leaders, ensuring sustainability initiatives support business objectives, protect Agratas license to operate, strengthen stakeholder trust and reinforce its position as a leader in sustainable battery technology and responsible industrial operations.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute Agratas sustainability strategy, aligning ESG priorities with growth, industrialization, and long-term value creation.Lead environmental sustainability initiatives, including Net Zero delivery, Scope 1-3 emissions reduction, renewable energy adoption, circular economy, resource efficiency,



and climate resilience.Drive sustainability governance, ESG reporting, disclosures (GRI, ISSB, TCFD, CDP, BRSR), performance measurement, and regulatory compliance.Champion responsible sourcing and supply chain sustainability, including ESG due diligence, traceability, ethical sourcing, and human rights frameworks.Build and strengthen stakeholder relationships across regulators, investors, customers, communities, industry bodies, and sustainability partnerships.Embed sustainability into business operations, decision-making, culture, leadership objectives, and cross-functional performance management.Leverage digital tools, data, innovation, and emerging technologies to enhance ESG reporting, sustainability outcomes, and operational efficiency.Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global sustainability team while managing external advisors, consultants, and assurance partners.QualificationsMaster's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Public Policy, Business Management, or related discipline12+ years’ progressive experience in sustainability, ESG, environmental management, responsible business or related leadership roles
