Role Description The Social Media Strategist role at Connectezy is a full-time, in office position based in the Greater Chennai Area.

The Social Media

Strategist will develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning content calendars, coordinating with internal teams, creating and optimizing posts, monitoring performance metrics, and adjusting strategies based on insights and trends. The role also involves managing online communities, responding to comments and messages, and collaborating on campaigns that highlight product updates, user stories, and partnership initiatives.

Strategist will work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure consistent messaging that supports Connectezy’s vision and growth objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to plan, execute, and refine multi-platform campaigns.
- Excellent Communication and Public Relations skills to represent the brand, manage community interactions, and support external outreach.
- Experience in Content Strategy, including planning editorial calendars, aligning content with business goals, and tailoring messages to target audiences.
- Ability to analyze social media metrics, use analytics tools, and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Demonstrated creativity in developing engaging digital content and staying current with social media trends and best practices.
- Comfort working on-site in a collaborative environment in the Greater Chennai Area, with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in tech, SaaS, or community/networking platforms is an advantage.
