Site Supervisor

Experience: 0–1 year

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Location: Chennai

Job Type: On-site | Multiple project sites

We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Site Supervisor to manage the day-to-day functioning of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Be present on site every working day and take responsibility for daily site operations and progress.
- Manage and monitor work across multiple sites as required.
- Ensure labourers are present, working regularly and executing work correctly.
- Ensure construction is carried out as per drawings, dimensions and design requirements.
- Coordinate labour, vendors and site activities to keep work moving efficiently.




- Coordinate with the team regarding material requirements and deliveries.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery and check the quantity, specifications, condition and quality of materials received.
- Take responsibility for materials at site, including proper storage and preventing damage or wastage.
- Monitor daily progress and provide regular updates and reports to the partners.
- Identify delays, quality issues or site problems and report them promptly.
- Check workmanship and ensure corrections are made where required.

Requirements

- Civil Engineering Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech.
- 0–1 year of experience; freshers may apply.
- Ability to read and understand drawings.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work directly with labourers and vendors.
- Proactive, responsible and able to work independently while reporting to the senior/partners.
- Comfortable travelling between multiple project sites in and around Chennai.
- Ability to drive a car and hold a valid driving licence is a bonus
- Candidates should be based in or around Kovur, Thandalam, Kundrathur or nearby areas for convenient daily travel.
