To manage and control Supplier Quality, Incoming Quality, In-Process Quality, and Outgoing Quality activities, ensuring that materials, components, manufacturing processes, assemblies, and finished products meet defined quality standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements. The role will focus on supplier quality improvement, inspection, non-conformance management, corrective actions, quality documentation, and continuous improvement across project and manufacturing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier & Incoming Quality

- Manage the Non-Conforming Material (NCM) process for incoming materials, including review, disposition, follow-up, and closure.
- Identify and resolve supplier quality issues through effective containment and corrective actions.
- Raise and manage Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR) and ensure timely closure.
- Monitor supplier performance through DPPM/PPM, rejection, defect, and trend analysis.
- Conduct supplier quality audits and follow up on audit findings.
- Support qualification of new suppliers, new parts, drawing revisions, current tooling, and new projects.
- Review supplier quality documents including Control Plans, Inspection Standards, Part Approval Records, and quality reports.
- Develop incoming inspection and test plans based on drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Work proactively with suppliers to identify quality risks and improvement opportunities.

In-Process Quality

- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Conduct first-off, in-process, and process inspections.
- Develop and maintain process inspection criteria and Control Plans.
- Identify process-related quality issues and drive effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams to reduce defects, rework, and scrap.
- Conduct process audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Support prototype, trial, pre-production, and new product/project activities.

Outgoing Quality

- Manage final inspection and outgoing quality activities before product dispatch.
- Develop and implement final inspection and testing plans.




- Verify product dimensions, appearance, functionality, assembly quality, and customer-specific requirements.
- Ensure finished products are released only after meeting defined quality standards.
- Review and maintain final inspection reports and quality records.
- Support customer inspections, FAT, pre-dispatch inspections, and other customer quality requirements.
- Identify outgoing quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Quality Equipment & Inspection

- Perform and supervise inspection using quality measurement equipment.
- Ensure proper use and handling of inspection and measuring equipment.
- Maintain awareness of calibration requirements.
- Familiarity with all the quality equipment’s.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T; requirements.

Quality Systems & Documentation

- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, NCR/NCM records, supplier quality documents, and corrective-action reports.
- Ensure compliance with company Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Support ISO 9001 internal audits, CSER audits, customer audits, and supplier audits.
- Monitor and report key quality metrics to management.
- Maintain supplier quality reports and supplier scorecards.
- Ensure timely closure of NCRs, SCARs, CAPAs, and audit findings.

Continuous Improvement Drive quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rejection, rework, scrap, and customer complaints.

- Supervise and guide QA Inspectors for incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspection activities.




- Allocate inspection activities and ensure timely completion.
- Train and develop QA inspectors on inspection methods, drawings, quality standards, and measuring equipment.
- Ensure consistent application of inspection standards and procedures.
- Monitor team productivity and inspection effectiveness.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Supplier Quality, Incoming Quality, Process Quality, or Outgoing Quality.
- Hands-on experience in supplier quality, inspection, manufacturing quality, and corrective-action management.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in manufacturing, project-based, engineering, or assembly environments.
- Experience with profiles, harnesses, SST/stainless-steel components, fabrication, and mechanical/electrical assemblies.
- Experience with CMM and vision measurement systems.
- Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and MSA.
- Knowledge of Minitab or other statistical analysis software.
- Experience in supplier audits and supplier development.
- Willingness to travel to supplier locations when required.
