Role Description This is a full-time, on-site SAP SD Consultant role based in the Greater Chennai Area. The SAP SD Consultant will configure and support SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) modules, including order-to-cash processes, pricing, billing, and logistics execution.

Responsibilities include gathering business requirements, designing and documenting solutions, performing system configuration and testing, and supporting integration with related modules such as MM and FI.



The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to resolve issues, optimize processes, and ensure stable, reliable execution in business-critical environments. The consultant will also prepare functional specifications, collaborate with technical teams on enhancements, and provide user training and post-go-live support.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in SAP SD module, including order management, pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management.
- Experience with integration between SAP SD and other modules such as MM, FI/CO, and SAP logistics.
- Proven ability to gather requirements, design solutions, create functional specifications, and perform unit and integration testing.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end order-to-cash processes, configuration of master data, and SD-related customizing.
- Experience in production support, incident resolution, and performance optimization in enterprise environments.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and process quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Chennai Area and coordinate with global stakeholders across time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; SAP SD certification is an advantage.
