The company uses foam plastic patterns that replicate the exact structure and size of metal parts, which are then coated, dried, and molded with dry sand before pouring molten metal to produce precise castings. Its production lines are organized into “white,” “yellow,” and “black” areas, covering pattern making, coating and drying, and moulding, pouring, sand reclamation, and shot blasting systems.

CASTOFOAM operates advanced equipment such as pre-foaming machines, molding machines, vacuum negative pressure systems, and casting shot blasting units to deliver near-net-shape castings. Role Description This is a full-time, in office role for a Sales Service Engineer based in Rajkot.

The Sales Service

Engineer will provide technical support and field service to customers using lost foam casting equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and process issues, performing routine maintenance and repair, and coordinating with internal technical teams to resolve complex problems. The role involves visiting customer sites,



commissioning and testing equipment, training customer personnel on operation and basic maintenance, and preparing service reports and documentation.

The Sales Service

Engineer will also support the sales team by participating in technical discussions, demonstrating equipment capabilities, and helping identify opportunities for service upgrades and aftermarket solutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions on casting and related equipment.
- Candidates should possess practical Field Service experience, including on-site customer support, equipment commissioning, and service reporting.
- Candidates should possess solid Maintenance & Repair capabilities for mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical systems used in industrial production environments.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to interact professionally with customers, document findings, and collaborate with sales and engineering teams.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgical, or related engineering discipline is preferred.
- Experience in foundry, casting technology, or industrial machinery service will be an advantage.
- Ability to read technical drawings, understand process parameters, and follow safety standards in industrial settings.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required and work in shop-floor and foundry environments.
