Job Description:

- We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer / Data Platform Developer to join the Data Excellence Program (DEP) team and contribute to the development of enterprise-scale data capabilities. The role will support the design and implementation of modern data engineering solutions that enable trusted, governed, and reusable data assets across the organization.
- The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in data engineering, cloud data platforms, and application development. This individual will work closely with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to develop data pipelines, transformations, integration services, APIs, and data products that support analytics, reporting, AI, and business operations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, integrations, and data processing frameworks.
- Build and enhance components of the enterprise data platform and data foundation capabilities.
- Implement data models, transformations, and data quality controls.




- Develop reusable services and APIs to facilitate data access and integration.
- Collaborate with architecture and product teams to implement enterprise data standards and engineering best practices.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Support modernization efforts across cloud-based data platforms and applications.
- Contribute to metadata, governance, lineage, and semantic layer initiatives where applicable.

Must-Have Skills:

- Strong data engineering experience, including SQL/PLSQL, ETL/ELT, and dbt.
- Hands-on experience with data warehouse platforms, preferably Snowflake.
- Experience working with cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
- Strong Python skills specific to data engineering, automation, and data processing use cases.
- Exposure to AI-enabled development or delivery practices, including coding agents and Agentic AI concepts.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Knowledge of knowledge graphs and semantic layer concepts.
- Understanding of data lineage concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with metadata management practices.
- Exposure to ontology-driven data modeling or ontology-based data platforms.
- Awareness of data foundation and governance-related concepts.
