About the Role

HDFC SKY, a discount broking app from HDFC Securities, is looking for a data-driven Equity Research Analyst to join our capital markets research team. In this role, you will analyze fundamental and technical market trends and translate complex financial data into concise, actionable stock ideas (intraday, swing, and long-term picks) for millions of retail investors on the HDFC SKY app.

Key Responsibilities

- Stock & Sector Coverage: Conduct fundamental analysis, valuation modeling (DCF, relative valuation), and technical evaluation across Indian equities.
- Actionable Retail Research: Draft short-form, easy-to-digest investment notes, daily stock calls, thematic picks, and MTF/F&O; strategies for retail traders.
- Market Commentary: Produce daily market summaries, pre-market notes, and earnings updates to drive user engagement on the app.
- Regulatory Compliance:



Ensure all calls and research reports adhere strictly to SEBI Research Analyst (RA) guidelines and internal risk limits.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product and growth teams to optimize how research and trading signals are delivered via app notifications and UI cards.

Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in equity research, wealth management, or institutional/retail broking.
- Certifications: NISM Series XV (Research Analyst Certification) is required (CA, CFA Level 2/3, or MBA Finance preferred).
- Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling skills, proficiency with Bloomberg/ACE Equity/Refinitiv, and comfortable analyzing both fundamentals and price action.
- Communication: Ability to write explicit, crisp, and actionable short-form investment arguments tailored to retail investors.
