Role Description The Purchase Assistant will support the purchasing and procurement activities required for manufacturing large-size valves, ensuring timely availability of materials and components. This full-time, on-site role is based in Rajkot and involves preparing and processing purchase orders, maintaining vendor records, and tracking delivery schedules.

The Purchase

Assistant will coordinate with suppliers, internal production teams, and stores to manage inventory levels and resolve discrepancies. Daily responsibilities include obtaining quotations, comparing costs, assisting in negotiations,



and ensuring compliance with company purchasing policies. The role also includes updating documentation and reports, using basic office software, and contributing to continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess knowledge of Purchasing Processes and general Purchasing activities.
- Candidates should be skilled in creating, managing, and monitoring Purchase Orders.
- Candidates should have experience or understanding of Procurement, including vendor coordination and material sourcing.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong Communication skills for working with suppliers and internal teams.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing or industrial products, preferably valves or related equipment.
- Ability to work on-site in Rajkot and collaborate effectively in a team workplace.
- Proficiency in MS Office or similar tools for documentation and reporting.
- Relevant education in supply chain, commerce, business administration, or a related field is beneficial.
- Prior experience in purchasing or procurement in a manufacturing setting is an advantage but not strictly mandatory.
