About the role

AEC is changing quickly. The way projects are designed, coordinated and delivered today is very different from what many of us were exposed to during our education.

At Novatr, we're working to bridge that gap by helping AEC professionals understand and work with the future of the industry.

As a Program Associate - BIM, you'll be part of the team building that experience.

This isn't a role where you'll simply work on BIM projects. You'll work closely with industry mentors, learners and internal teams to help create learning experiences that are practical, relevant and connected to how the industry is actually evolving.

You'll bring your understanding of AEC and BIM into learning, research, program execution and problem-solving, while getting a much broader view of the industry and the people shaping its future.

What you'll work on:

Build better learning experiences

- Work with mentors and internal teams to create assignments, activities, resources and other learning materials.
- Help translate technical and industry concepts into learning experiences that are transparent and useful for professionals.
- Contribute to curriculum structuring, presentations and documentation.
- Review and improve learning experiences based on learner feedback and industry needs.

Stay close to where AEC is heading

- Research how AEC teams are working today and how those workflows are evolving.
- Explore emerging technologies, tools and approaches that could influence the industry.
- Bring relevant industry observations and ideas into our programs.
- Help us experiment with better ways of teaching and delivering programs.

Work closely with people





- Collaborate with industry mentors and professionals to bring real-world context into our programs.
- Interact with learners and understand the challenges they face.
- Coordinate with internal teams to keep programs moving smoothly.
- Help resolve learner and program-related challenges with ownership.

Own program execution

- Support the end-to-end execution of learning programs.
- Track milestones, deliverables and timelines.
- Coordinate across mentors, learners and internal teams.
- Identify gaps, solve problems and improve processes along the way.

What you must bring:

A strong foundation in BIM

You should have genuine, hands-on familiarity with:

- BIM workflows
- Revit
- Navisworks

You don't need to know everything about BIM. We care more about whether you understand how these tools and workflows are actually used and can apply that understanding thoughtfully. How you think and work:

Good to have:

These aren't requirements, but they would be a great addition:

- Experience with Civil 3D
- Experience with ETABS
- Experience with STAAD.Pro
- Exposure to BIM coordination
- Understanding of construction documentation
- Experience working on real-world AEC projects
- Experience creating presentations, documentation, or learning content
- Exposure to AI or productivity tools
- Experience coordinating projects, teams or stakeholders

Who could be a great fit?

You could be an architect, civil engineer, structural engineer, or someone from a related built-environment background.

You may have spent your career working on projects and are now curious about what lies beyond the traditional project role.

Or you may be earlier in your career and already have a strong foundation in BIM, along with the curiosity to understand the industry beyond the software you use.

We're not looking for someone who checks every box.

We're looking for someone who can bring their AEC perspective, learn quickly, take ownership, and help us build something that didn't exist in the same way when we were students.
