Scope of Role The Production Manager owns overall production output, cost, and commercial efficiency across all three divisions (Radiator, Nano-Crystalline Core, CRGO Core). This role sets direction, plans, allocates resources, and is accountable to the Director for targets, cost, and quality outcomes. Day-to-day shop-floor execution within the Radiator Division is delegated to the Production Engineer; the Production Manager does not duplicate that daily execution but reviews it, removes obstacles, and is the escalation point for issues the Production Engineer cannot resolve.

- Production Planning & Commercial Ownership

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans across all three divisions based on customer orders and forecasts.

- Own and report the commercial impact of production decisions — material cost, conversion cost, wastage cost, and labour cost — to the Director.

- Set production targets and timelines for each division; the Production Engineer (Radiator) and division leads (Nano, CRGO) are responsible for executing against these.

- Track production efficiency and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) across divisions and report variances.

- Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Quality, and Maintenance departments on order commitments, material availability, and equipment uptime.

- Approve purchase requisitions and material planning inputs raised by division leads/engineers; own supplier and cost negotiations in coordination with Purchase.

- Manpower & Cross-Divisional Coordination

- Allocate operators, supervisors, technicians, and engineers across the three divisions based on workload.

- Approve staffing, shift planning, and overtime; monitor attendance, productivity, and skill development at an aggregate level.





- Conduct performance evaluations of division-level engineers/leads, including the Production Engineer (Radiator).

- Maintain overall discipline, safety compliance, and labour relations across the shop floor; act as the point of escalation for safety incidents and labour issues raised by division leads.

- Conduct regular cross-divisional review meetings to align Radiator, Nano, and CRGO Core teams on priorities.

- Quality, Cost & Continuous Improvement (All Divisions)

- Set and approve quality standards, specifications, and acceptance criteria that division leads/engineers execute against.

- Review rejection/rework rates and testing data reported by division leads; direct root-cause analysis and approve corrective action plans.

- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections, audits, and customer quality escalations.

- Own cost-reduction and productivity initiatives (Lean/Kaizen, 5S, process standardization) across all divisions, in consultation with division-level input.

- Monitor raw material consumption and wastage trends at a consolidated level and direct corrective measures where wastage exceeds norms.

Transformer Radiator

- Set production schedules, quality standards, and material budgets for the Radiator Division; the Production Engineer executes daily operations against this plan.

- Review daily/weekly production and downtime reports submitted by the Production Engineer; resolve escalations the Production Engineer cannot close at the floor level.

- Approve any deviation from approved fabrication drawings or process standards before implementation.

- Own commercial decisions related to the Radiator Division — costing, customer commitments, and major procurement — in coordination with the Production Engineer's floor-level input.
