PGT - Geography Key Responsibilities · Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, activities/events, and assessments. · Curriculum Execution: Design annual syllabus in accordance with CBSE guidelines to achieve target-oriented learning outcomes. · Classroom Instruction: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons using practical and contemporary teaching techniques. · Student Discipline & Mentorship: Maintain classroom discipline, offer remedial guidance to weak students, and mentor students for holistic development. · Co-Curricular & Administrative Duties: Coordinate school events, exhibitions, assemblies, parent-teacher meetings, board exam invigilation, and perform other duties assigned by the management from line to line. Qualification: Master’s Degree (M.A. / M.Sc) in Geography from a recognized University with at least 50% marks. Teaching Credential: B.Ed degree from an NCTE-recognized institution. Desirable: Practical experience in map work, awareness of GIS/spatial tools, and prior experience in conducting CBSE Board practicals and evaluation.
