About the Role

Rama P.G. College, Chinhat, Lucknow, invites applications from qualified, passionate, and dedicated candidates for the position of Assistant Professor – Hindi. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching, mentoring students, contributing to academic activities, and supporting the overall development of the Hindi Department.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective lectures in Hindi for UG and PG students.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
Conduct tutorials, discussions, presentations, and other academic activities.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive academic feedback.
Mentor and guide students in their academic and career development.
Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, workshops, and college events.
Contribute to curriculum-related and co-curricular activities.
Encourage students to participate in literary, cultural, and academic activities.
Maintain academic records, attendance, and other departmental documentation.
Support examination, admission, and other institutional responsibilities as assigned.




Contribute to research, publications, conferences, and other academic initiatives.

Eligibility
Master’s Degree in Hindi / relevant discipline from a recognized university with the required percentage as per applicable UGC/University norms.
NET/SET/SLET or Ph.D. as applicable under prevailing UGC/University regulations.
Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the affiliating university and regulatory authorities.

Preferred Skills
Strong command of Hindi language and literature.
Excellent communication and classroom presentation skills.
Ability to engage and motivate students.
Good academic, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
Familiarity with digital teaching tools and MS Office/Google Workspace will be an advantage.
Research orientation and willingness to participate in academic activities.
