Job Role: AWS Solution Architect - Rust

We are looking for an experienced AWS Solution Architect with robust expertise in Rust, cloud-native architecture, API-first microservices, and distributed systems .

The role will own end-to-end solution architecture, technical decisions, architecture governance, stakeholder management, and production readiness for a Rust-based microservices platform hosted on AWS .

Key Responsibilities
Design scalable, secure and highly available solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) .
Translate business requirements and non-functional requirements into robust cloud architectures.
Define microservice boundaries, API contracts, integration patterns, data architecture and deployment strategies .
Lead architecture workshops, design reviews, ADRs, technical discussions and architecture governance.
Design and review solutions using AWS VPC, API Gateway, ALB/NLB, EKS/ECS/Fargate, ECR, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, ElastiCache, IAM, KMS and WAF .
Guide engineering teams on Rust-based production services , async programming and cloud-native development.




Drive scalability, performance, availability, disaster recovery, security and cost optimization.
Define observability using Amazon CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry and AWS X-Ray .
Work closely with Engineering, DevOps/SRE, QA, Security, Product and Operations teams.
Provide technical leadership during integration, production readiness and major production incidents.
Document architecture decisions, technical risks, dependencies, trade-offs and operational requirements.

Candidate Profile
10+ years of experience in software/cloud engineering.
5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture / Cloud Architecture .
Robust experience designing AWS-hosted distributed systems and microservices platforms .
Production experience or solid working knowledge of Rust-based services .
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead technical decisions across onsite/offshore engineering teams.
Experience working across Architecture, Engineering, DevOps/SRE, Security and Operations.
