About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented USA Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities for U.S.-based businesses. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of U.S. bookkeeping practices, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage financial records.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books and financial records.
Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
Prepare and maintain monthly financial reports.
Track invoices, expenses, payments, and receipts.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Review financial records for discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.
Maintain organized documentation and supporting financial records.
Coordinate with clients, accountants, and internal teams as required.
Ensure bookkeeping activities follow applicable U.S.



accounting practices.
Payroll accounting

Requirements
2+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably supporting U.S.-based businesses.
Robust understanding of U.S. bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Experience with QuickBooks Online is preferred.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
Solid reconciliation and financial reporting skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Comfortable working in U.S. time zones.

Preferred
Experience working with U.S. clients.
Familiarity with payroll, sales tax, and basic U.S. compliance requirements.
Experience handling multiple clients or entities.
QuickBooks certification is a plus.
