Key working relationships

LO Actuarial; Modelling; Actuarial IT, Local IT and Auditors

Key Responsibilities
Focus of the role involves support in IFreporting across Gulf region.
Support the production and review of IFreporting deliverables across countries in the Gulf region.
Assist in the coordination of IFreporting activities with Finance, Actuarial, Modeling, and IT teams.
Perform validation and reconciliation of IFresults and investigate reporting movements and variances.
Ensuring compliance with the regulation and responsible for audit queries, regulators request and other related tasks.
Review and challenge the Liability Cashflow models as well as IFmodels to ensure compliance with the product description.
Ensuring Finance, accounting and IT platform being set up as per IFreporting requirement.
Analyse and explain the results to stakeholders
Prepare and maintain documentation of methodologies, assumptions, processes, controls, and outputs.




Develop solid working relationships and strategic partnerships with internal clients

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of Position
Delivery to project deadlines
High standards of technical rigor
Robust communication and stakeholder management
Taking demonstrable ownership of work.

Essential Experience, Skills and Competencies
Positive progress with actuarial exams
Experience and knowledge of European and Middle Eastern insurance products
Ability to work in a team taking own initiative and consulting with others as appropriate
Attention to detail combined with respect for deadlines

Advantageous Skills and Experience
Familiarity with IFprinciples and reporting processes.
Ability to manage the expectations of others allowing for multiple dependencies
Prophet proficiency.
Knowledge of other modelling platforms, for example Python.
