Role DescriptionWe are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our team in Chennai. The candidate will support daily pharmacy operations, dispense medicines accurately, maintain inventory, and provide quality service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines in accordance with valid prescriptions and applicable regulations.
- Verify prescriptions and identify potential dispensing concerns.
- Guide customers on proper medication usage, where appropriate.
- Manage medicine inventory and monitor expiry dates.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
- Support billing and pharmacy software operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals when required.
- Protect patient confidentiality and follow ethical pharmacy practices.
Qualifications
- D.Pharm or B.Pharm qualification.
- Valid pharmacist registration with the appropriate pharmacy council, where applicable.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Positive communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn pharmacy software.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai.
