Position: PGT Chemistry

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Chemistry to Classes XI–XII as per CBSE curriculum and school academic standards.
- Prepare and deliver engaging, concept-based lessons with emphasis on board examination and competitive examination preparation.
- Conduct practical classes and ensure proper utilization and maintenance of the Chemistry laboratory.
- Prepare lesson plans, assessments, question papers, assignments and remedial/enrichment activities.
- Monitor students’ academic progress and provide timely feedback and individual support.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance and examination-related documentation.
- Encourage scientific thinking, experimentation, problem-solving and application-based learning.
- Collaborate with the academic team, coordinators and other faculty members for effective curriculum implementation.
- Participate in school events, workshops, meetings, parent interactions and other academic responsibilities assigned by the Management.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- M.Sc. in Chemistry with B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant teaching experience at Senior Secondary level preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CBSE Class XI–XII Chemistry syllabus.
- Experience in preparing students for CBSE Board / JEE / NEET will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, classroom management and interpersonal skills.

Salary & Benefits Salary: ₹45,000–₹55,000 per month, depending on qualification and experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong subject expertise in Chemistry, with the ability to teach advanced concepts at the senior secondary level.
- Candidates should possess analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to help students understand complex scientific principles and applications.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for clear classroom instruction, student engagement, and interaction with parents and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess laboratory skills and familiarity with practical procedures to conduct secure, well-organized Chemistry experiments.
- Candidates should possess research and development (R&D;) orientation to integrate current scientific developments and innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
- Master’s degree in Chemistry (or closely related field) and B.Ed. from a recognized institution, with CBSE teaching experience preferred.
- Ability to use digital tools and smart classroom technology, with basic computer proficiency for lesson preparation and student assessment.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills, student mentoring abilities, and commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education.
