Job Title: Business Analyst Finance Domain

Location: Chennai

Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Analyst with robust finance domain expertise to support requirement gathering, documentation, testing, and implementation while working with business, operations, and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; prepare BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and conduct GAP analysis.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and QA to ensure accurate requirement translation.
Coordinate and manage UAT activities, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and sign-off.
Support production implementation and post-go-live activities.
Manage SDLC/Agile governance and quality assurance processes.
Collaborate closely with Development, QA, IT Security, and Architecture teams.
Track qualification testing and user acceptance testing.
Maintain functional and process documentation.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications (Finance / Accounts Profile)




Solid core financial knowledge
Hands-on experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
Bank Reconciliation Statements
P&L; and Balance Sheet analysis
Multi-country indirect tax exposure (GST / VAT and similar frameworks)
Proficiency in Excel
Solid communication and documentation skills

Preferred Skills (IT / BA Exposure)
Experience in writing and reviewing BRDs, FSDs, and User Stories
Ability to work across business, operations, development, and QA teams
Experience with multiple accounting software platforms (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, ERP/accounting systems)
Experience in the Freight Forwarding / Logistics domain
Workflow creation, process automation, or BPM tools
Prior involvement in accounting software implementation or migration projects
Exposure to global finance operations or multi-region projects.
