Experience

3–6 years of overall experience, with relevant experience in Contact Center/BPO operations and Motor Insurance Sales . Prior experience managing a sales team.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Team Lead – Motor Insurance Sales with solid exposure to the Contact Center domain . The candidate will be responsible for managing a team of sales executives, driving motor insurance sales through contact center channels, achieving business targets, monitoring operational performance, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead a team of Motor Insurance Sales executives in a contact center setting.
Drive daily, monthly, and quarterly sales and revenue targets.
Monitor team performance across key contact center metrics such as AHT, conversion, productivity, quality, adherence, and customer experience .
Manage inbound and outbound sales processes for motor insurance.
Drive lead conversion through effective calling, follow-ups, cross-selling, and upselling.




Monitor the complete customer journey from lead generation to quotation and policy issuance.
Conduct daily team huddles, performance reviews, coaching, and feedback sessions.
Identify performance gaps and implement appropriate corrective action plans.
Track and improve lead-to-policy conversion, premium, renewal conversion, and revenue per agent .
Ensure proper utilisation of leads and maintain an effective sales pipeline.
Handle customer escalations and support agents in resolving complex customer queries.
Work closely with Operations, Quality, Training, MIS, Underwriting, and other internal teams.
Review call quality and ensure adherence to sales processes and compliance requirements.
Prepare and analyse daily/weekly/monthly performance reports and MIS.
Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and motor insurance guidelines.
Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, customer experience, and team productivity.
Conduct regular performance reviews and develop high-performing team members.
