Role Description: The AVP – Risk & Finance is a full time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role is responsible for overseeing risk assessment frameworks, monitoring market and operational risks, and supporting financial planning and analysis for the consortium’s products and services. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing risk reports, analyzing financial performance, recommending risk mitigation measures, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

The role involves close collaboration with finance, product, technology, and member bank teams to align risk strategies with business objectives.



The AVP – Risk & Finance will also contribute to the development of risk governance processes and support management in strategic decision-making.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess solid Risk Management skills, including experience in setting up risk frameworks and governance practices.
Candidates should possess Market Risk expertise, with the ability to evaluate exposure, stress scenarios, and risk-adjusted returns.
Candidates should possess solid Finance and Financial Services knowledge, preferably within banking or fintech environments.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting data, building models, and generating actionable insights.
Relevant postgraduate qualification in finance, risk management, economics, or a related field is preferred (e.g., MBA, CA, CFA, FRM).
Experience in working with regulatory guidelines, compliance requirements, and internal audit processes in the financial sector is beneficial.
Robust communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Proficiency with risk and finance tools (such as Excel, BI platforms, and financial modeling software) is an advantage.
