Duties & responsibilities of BDC Coordinator
Be responsible to Head / Manager - Donor recruitment.
Be responsible to ensure adequate and timely availability of sufficient voluntary blood donors to meet the blood demands of the blood centre by taking the following specific steps:
Identify and approach potential blood donor organizations like industries, colleges, offices, associations etc.
Meet the management / HR / administrative personnel and present the objectives of Rotary Bangalore-TTK Blood Bank, Bangalore Medical Services Trust.
Request for suitable dates for BDC and fix up the time, date and venue of the BDC in that organization.
Take the contact details (telephone & e mail addresses)



of the person/s in the organization that will be responsible for arrangements for the BDC.
Organize motivation talks as necessary
Inspect and assess suitability of venue for BDC in terms of ventilation, light, cleanliness, timings and arrangements for the BDC including furniture, refreshment for the donor and BDC staff
Give details of BDCs to BBMO, BBMO i/c
Give additional special requirements if any to TM /MOBDC/ BDC i/c regarding arrangements for the BDC.
Do follow up of BDC with camp organizer and take feedback from them and analyze.
